Kadamay Demands Immediate Rescue From Flood, “Wag Marikina Lang!”
Kadamay leader National Chairperson Gloria “Ka Bea” Arellano is now demanding the government for an immediate rescue to families in relocation sites that were trapped in floodwater due to heavy rains spawned by the southwest monsoon. Aside from blaming the Duterte administration, she also noted that Marikina is not the only area that needs help.

Watch: Tanauan City Mayor Thony Halili Shot Dead During Flag Ceremony (Video)
Tanauan City, Batangas Mayor Antonio “Thony” Halili was shot while he was attending the flag raising ceremony at the city hall on Monday, July 2, 2018. Known for his “Walk of Shame” campaign, he was declared dead shortly after. A short video of the said flag ceremony was posted on Facebook, where a gunshot was heard. Watch it below.

Ousted Sereno Returns P5-M Luxury Service Car to SC, COA Says Purchase Has Irregularities
Ousted Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno has already returned her P5-million Toyota Land Cruiser service vehicle to the Supreme Court (SC) office in Manila. According to lawyer Jojo Lacanilao, one of Sereno’s spokespersons, the former chief of justice returned it on Wednesday, June 21, the day after SC announced that her ouster is final.

Duterte Approves Mental Health Law, Bill Principal Sponsor Hontiveros No Thanks to President
President Rodrigo Duterte has already approved the Mental Health Law, which now secures the rights and welfare of persons with mental health needs, among others. This is according to Senator Risa Hontiveros, who author and principal sponsor of the bill in the Senate. However, it appears that the Opposition senator did not thank the president.

Vera Files, a third party program tasked to fact check news in the Philippines on Facebook, has slammed Silent No More PH, a staunch critic of President Rodrigo Duterte, for posting fake news on Facebook. The said Facebook claimed that the president held a meeting with his top leaders because of the scandals involving them.

Renato Reyes on DOJ Granting Sister Patricia Fox Visa Back, “Napahiya si Duterte!”
The Department of Justice (DOJ) has reversed the order of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) that revoked the missionary visa of Sister Patricia Fox. Therefore, the 71-year old Australian nun can stay in the Philippines. Bayan Secretary General Renato Reyes was among the first known personality to react and mocked President Rodrigo Duterte.

Sotto Demands Inquirer to Delete ‘Fake News’ About Pepsi Paloma Case
Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III is demanding Philippine Daily Inquirer (PDI) to remove its three articles linking him to the rape and death of the late “80s softdrink beauty” Pepsi Paloma. According to the Eat Bulaga host-politician, those articles contain unverified contents and therefore can be considered as fake news.
