Sharon Cuneta Slams Renato Reyes for Using her Photo in Labor Day Protest Invitation
Megastar Sharon Cuneta is the wife of Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, but she has never engaged herself in politics. No wonder, she was very upset when she learned that Bayan secretary general Renato Reyes Jr. used her photo to invite people to attend a protest rally on Tuesday, May 1, as part of the country’s Labor Day celebration.

Comelec to Declare Failure of Elections in CamSur After PET Discovers New Anomaly
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is set to declare failure of election in the entire province of Camarines Sur (CamSur) in the 2016 elections. This is after the Supreme Court (SC) sitting as the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) on manual vote recount of the vice presidential race discovered a new anomaly in the said province last week.

Jinggoy Estrada to Run for Senator in 2019 Under LP Resistance Coalition
Former Senator Jinggoy Estrada is set to run for senator in the coming 2019 elections. But because the ruling party, Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) did not include him in their senatorial list, he recently accepted the offer of Liberal Party (LP) to Partido ng Masang Pilipino (PMP) to join its Resistance Coalition.

Alejano Blames Anti Dynasty Law for Low Number of SK Candidates, Sen Sotto Disagrees
Magdalo Rep. Gary Alejano blamed the anti-dyansty law being the reason why the number of candidates for the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections were very low as compared to the previous elections. The said law is being implemented for the first time by the Commission on Elections (Comelec). However, Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III disagreed.
