Bong Go Apologizes to Kris Aquino Over Mocha’s Sharing of Ninoy Kissing Video

Special Assistant to the President Christopher "Bong" Go apologized to Kris Aquino over Presidential communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson’s sharing of video of the late Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino being kissed by a woman back in 1983. In her Instagram post, Kris explained how she and Go communicated and thanked him for his humility.

“I took the courage to reach out to PRRD’s SA Bong Go (sorry sa initial post, nag auto correct to Bong- although cute yung Bong Gong.) Thank you commissioner Aimee Neri for helping me reach him via text. i have known & liked him for 8 years. In this instance I am Ninoy Aquino’s daughter- he believed in the power of true & honest communication.” Kris wrote.

“SA Bong, thank you for your reply. Thank you for taking my feelings as a daughter into consideration & showing me EMPATHY. I am most grateful for a man as powerful as you are now for texting & vibering me the words “we are sorry for the incident.” You have my sincere gratitude.” The Queen of All Media added.

As the entire Philippines now know, the Kris-Mocha word war started when President Rodrigo Duterte kissed a Filipina on her lips during his visit in South Korea. The woman, who as later identified as Bea Kim, went on stage with the president to receive a book in exchange of a kiss. Shortly after, the president’s action received mixed reactions on social media.

As defense, President Duterte said the kiss has no malice noting that he did it only for entertainment. To defend the president, Mocha shared Ninoy’s kissing video. This prompted Kris to criticized the former sexy entertainer, and even vowed to fight back. "Nangako akong hindi kita papatulan - but this time you crossed the line," Kris wrote.

“Kaya ngayon hihiramin ko ang salita nya: Tama na. Sobra na... Kung may gusto kang punching bag, please ako na lang. Kasi buhay ako, kaya kitang sagutin. At hindi kita uurungan," Kris said on the last part. A few hours later, she created a Facebook live video and this time, Kris challenged Mocha meet her "anytime and anywhere."



“This is a direct challenge to you. Text me, you can find my number, it’s so easy. Name the place, name the location, let's carry it live. Bring all your followers.... I can stand alone..This is about Cory and Ninoy Aquino. This is about a woman who never new them…but who continues to besmirch their name. Girl, ako na lang. Kayang-kaya ko.” Kris said.
